Hello.

My name is Jenica Parker Rogers-Urbanek, and I’m a librarian. And a geek. And I’m unrepentant about both. Also, I knit. And crochet. And make jewelry. And own cats. I am a walking stereotype.

 

I’ve been blogging since 2003, and this is the arty-crafty offshoot of what began as an entirely personal thing, then became a professional thing, and now is morphing backwards to personal and professional both. (Professional me is over here.) I love to write, and doing so helps to crystallize the ideas that chase through my head. Also, there are some brilliant people out there on the internet, writing and talking and connecting, and I want to be a part of that community, contributing whatever I have to offer.
